After years of serving clients and our community, Bortnick Law Office will permanently close on February 27, 2026.
It has been an honor to work with each of you, and I am committed to ensuring a smooth and responsible transition.
Information for Clients
New Matters
Our office is in the process of winding down and, as such, we are not taking on any new matters for new nor existing clients.
Ongoing Matters
If you currently have an active matter with my office, please contact me as soon as possible. We will review your matter status, arrange for your payment of outstanding accounts with our office and coordinate the transfer of your file or the selection of new counsel.
Client Files & Records

All client files will be digitally archived and stored securely for the required 10-year retention period.

After 10 years, files will be permanently destroyed, with the exception of estate planning files, which will be retained indefinitely or as permitted by applicable rules.

You may request a copy of your file at any time before the February 27, 2026, and during the retention period.
